Nature has no straight lines or circles, she communicates via the form of a vortex, or spiral.
Not only is the wave a form of vortex, but the eddies and chaos that follow organize themselves via vortexial circulation. This results in "surfers high" as also described by paddlers in chaotic rivers...
The root of our existence forms via the vortex...
These pictures were taken with a technique called Kirlian photography, a means to visualize the higher energy bodies associated with living organisms. One can still see the etheric body after the leaf matter has been removed (right).

Through its one-sided mechanical materialistic focus, ‘academic science’ has distanced itself from its original goal = to derive knowledge from nature. The circle symbolizes the repeatability of an experiment. Only when the same experiment arrives at the same conclusions over and over again, can we call the outcome scientifically proven or law, and it is only in this context of authority that it can find its way into our (school)books. We conveniently forget that there are no such circles or striaght lines in nature. Rather, nature chooses to move in a marriage of the line and cirlce via the double cycloid spiral curve, or the vortex. Nature does not work in replicability, but in deriving non-uniform order from chaos. Should this not affect our collective idea of "law" and "experiment"?
Vortexial energy manifests as life. It is the means by which form takes shape and the conductor of the subtle energies necessary to maintain this shape without falling apart. (This falling apart is defined by the LAW of entropy!) This palpably invisible energy responsible for making sure things don't fall apart is mirrored in resonance inside literally all material of the Universe, expressing itself via the sacred geometry of nature, and resulting in unfathomable living diversity on earth, from humans all the way down to single-celled bacteria, and, at the same time, supernova’s taking place 13,000 light years away.
Focus on the whirls and eddies of a stream in the forest, or picture the circulational shape of a breaking wave and the maelstroms in its seemingly chaotic and turbulent wake. Think of your DNA and of galaxy’s forming in space. Ponder the extraordinary physicality of a destructive tornado derived from thin air…now project that idea onto the physical form created by the empty space of the all encompassing atom. In the same way you could punch a tornado if it was possible to approach it, the atoms in your arm, for example, are whirling at such an extreme rate that they manifest physicality. Makes sense doesn't it? These simple mental exercises elicit the power, importance, and pervasiveness of vortices in the natural world. Very simply put, everything around us is derived from the creative energy of the vortex. Seashells, beanstalks, a falcon on its descent attacking prey, light, raindrops, hurricanes, magnetism, etc. are all representations in form of the universe speaking via the vortex. Literally, the spiral is the force behind all of nature, all days in all ways.
Our ideas of existence, or, the forms that are manifest into our experience via vortexial energy, are all an expression of sympathetic harmonies, or resonance. Resonance is what holds us together, it’s what makes the Universe tick in a seemingly calculated and predictable way, it’s what allows us to be healthy, and its essence is balance. We are only beginning to actually and collectively understand the importance and subtleties of the resonance concept. These subtle energies are akin to the millions of electromagnetic waves swarming all around us that make our cell phones work and our TV’s turn on, but they vibrate at a frequency and subtlety beyond the scope of most modern instruments. Although still quite controversial, evidence of these subtle energies is provided by Kirlian photography in what is known as the “Phantom Leaf Effect”. (see left)
The certainty with which we accept and teach our science is the root of the disconnect between a recognition of what is and what can actually be measured. For example, we make “laws” that do not apply to all. The central idea of the Second Law of Thermodynamics is entropy, or, all things being equal, things tend to fall apart. A textbook example of this idea is sand on a beach. It seems rather obvious to us that the sand will not turn back into shells. However, there are examples in nature that break the entropic idea expressed in this law, namely, living life and vortices.
These entities defy entropy by creating order from chaos, actually building themselves into and maintaining form despite the universal forces, such as gravity or decomposition, that they are subjected too. Our own bodies do this upon conception, and then continue to mature until death by developing, growing, maturing, and learning. How and why does our body resist the idea of entropy and uphold its order? The answer is the resonance of our multiple energy bodies = physical --> etheric --> astral, etc. The ability to measure the subtle energies that maintain the resonance necessary to sustain and grow the human form in its working capacity are only now beginning to be addressed and accepted by Western society. Our science has developed to a point where we only accept what can be measured, ignoring the audacity of the idea that we actually can in the first place. In doing this, we see right past the thing, as what we pay attention to becomes what we are conscious of. We teach ourselves to rip it apart before we can see it for what it is. As Goethe said and Newton ignored, we must be careful to adhere to scientific principle gained under artificial conditions.
Similarly, the emerging order derived from the vortexial form within nature works to regulate the energy of the earth, as well as to enliven water, manifesting abundances of energy, such as with an organized tornado and its imperceptible motor. How many of you have experienced the subtle and wonderful energy following or in the eye of a hurricane? In both cases, the glue that holds the mold is the electrical communication allowed by the concept of resonance. Rather than turning to chaos, the form is speaking to itself in a way that creates intention and meaning. This resonance is shared by the earth as it turns, water as it is structured, minerals as they are dynamized, people as they are conscious, biology as it is activated, as nature intended so that the earth may be healed.
